A large portion of my senior thesis was the creation of a functional clock based on a chosen social issue. This project explains the issue of overfishing and highlights the need to advocate for more sustainable fishing practices. Some of these practices include the use of catch limits, the elimination of harmful fishery subsidies, and reducing illegal unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. The bare clock design is inspired by how empty and ghostly our oceans are becoming.
